The Digital Storymakers Award, co-sponsored by the Pearson Foundation and Atavist recognizes excellence in student non fiction multimedia.

Using the Atavist authoring tools, students can combine text, photos, video, interactive maps, and other rich media features to create their own stories.

9 Grand prize winners will receive $5,000, invitation to a two day boot camp conducted by guest authors, and publication in a special Digital Storymakers Award App.

A number of Universities and Journalism Graduate schools and programs are currently using the platform in their classes. Professors who want to use the platform for their classes can get access by contacting us through the contact form on Digital Storymakers Award website.

Registration is open now and we encourages students to register now to get updates and access to the authoring tool in January.
