AJHA Solicits Entries for Best JMC History Book Award

The American Journalism Historians Association (AJHA) is soliciting entries for its award for the best journalism and mass communication history book of 2012.

The award is given annually, and the winner will be honored at AJHA’s annual convention in New Orleans Sept. 26-28.

The competition is open to any author of a relevant history book regardless of whether he or she is a member of AJHA. Authorship is defined as the person(s) who wrote the book. No edited volumes will be accepted. Only books with a 2012 copyright will be considered. Entries must be postmarked no later than March 31.

Submit four copies of each book, along with the author’s email and mailing address, to Aimee Edmondson, Ohio University, E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, 204 Scripps Hall, Athens, OH 45701 (edmondso@ohio.edu, 740-597-3336).
