Special Call for the AEJMC Washington, DC Conference!

AEJMC members who are current doctoral students are eligible for travel grants of up to $750 to attend the AEJMC Conference in Washington, DC. • The AEJMC Communication Commission on the Status of Women Annual Awards
  Call for Mary Gardner Award for Graduate Student Research — This award is designed to fund research that has the potential to make an excellent contribution to the scholarship on women and journalism and mass communication.
  Call for Mary Ann Yodelis Smith Award for Feminist Scholarship — This award funds feminist scholarship that has the potential to make significant contributions to the literature on gender and media.
  Call for Donna Allen Award for Feminist Advocacy — The Donna Allen Award recognizes feminist advocacy by a woman or group.
  Call for Outstanding Woman in Journalism and Mass Communication Education — This award honors a woman who has represented women well through excellence and high standards.

• Call for Researchers on Women in Communication ^[6]
  The Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication was established to empower and advance women scholars and professionals in the fields of communication. The center is seeking to develop collaborations and initiate research projects with scholars whose research interests focus on women in mass communication including, the portrayal of women in mass media, women in the media industries, the role of women in media and mass communication, women adoption of new media technologies, and more. If your scholarly work addresses one of these topics or any topic that focuses on women in mass communication, we would like to know about you.
