Western Illinois University Department of Broadcasting and Journalism is seeking a full-time Instructor to teach sports production, broadcast writing and performance classes for the Macomb Campus.  Applicants should be able to teach a broad range of courses in media production as well as entry level broadcasting classes. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Broadcasting or related field OR Master’s degree in a non-broadcasting field with professional broadcast experience. Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be given added consideration: the ability to teach production courses at the university level, demonstrated experience in professional broadcast writing and production, sports broadcasting, on-air broadcast experience and proficiency in video-editing software.
