The DEI Committee is responsible for the following:
● DEI PROGRAMMING – Liaise with all PR Division Committees, particularly PF&R, Teaching, and Research Committees, to develop and support teaching, research, and service programming that eradicates social and racial injustice to foster a more equitable community for PR scholars, students, and professionals.
● PAPER COMPETITION CALL – Develop and distribute the yearly PR Division call for the Race & Ethnicity Research Paper Competition. With the DEI team, review submissions for the paper call and select one paper competition winner.
● FINANCIAL SUPPORT – Work to raise funds for the Race & Ethnicity Paper Competition award and raise funds to support other relevant DEI initiatives across the PR Division.
