AEJMC: Organization Signs on to a Call for Constructive Engagement
April 22, 2025 | In recognition of the desire expressed by a number of AEJMC members that our association "say something" in response to current realities impacting higher education, while also recognizing our organizational structure and resources that constrain an independent stand-alone public statement, AEJMC's Board of Directors has voted to sign on to the Call for Constructive Engagement on Higher Education, led by the American Association of Colleges and Universities.
We encourage all AEJMC members to continue living and working by our core values of accountability, fidelity and truth telling, justice, and caring (https://www.aejmc.org/about/code-of-ethics/preamble-core-values), as we collectively support one another, our students, and the continued value and impact of journalism and mass communication education.
