The Communication Department at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma invites applicants for an instructor/Assistant Professor in public relations. Teaching load is 12 hours per semester in public relations or other communication courses. Regular scholarship and service are required for retention, promotion and tenure. Responsibilities also include academic advising, advising student PR association, and recruiting.
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree or ABD in communication, mass communication or related field. Individuals who are ABD will be appointed at non-tenure track instructor rank. Candidates with experience and/or teaching in public relations preferred. Individuals with terminal degree will be appointed at tenure-track Assistant Professor rank.
