CONVERGENT MEDIA, VIDEO/PHOTOJOURNALISM, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Start date: August 2013. Missouri Western is seeking a candidate to fill a tenure-track position in its Convergent Media degree program. Candidates should be able to teach courses in video and multimedia journalism and digital photojournalism and in one or more of the following areas: principles/history of mass media, media law and ethics, publication design, print reporting and editing. Candidates may also have an opportunity to teach in the graduate digital media program (www.missouriwestern.edu/digitalmedia).

REQUIRED: Minimum of a Masters in Journalism or mass communication, and a Ph.D. in a related field, and a record of successful teaching and/or professional journalism experience. Salary is commensurate with experience.
