Public Relations Instructor Position. The University of South Florida School of Mass Communications invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-earning instructor position in public relations at the USF Tampa campus beginning in August 2013. This is a nine-month position. The salary is negotiable, to be determined by experience and education. The position is contingent on final funding approval.

Minimum Qualifications for Instructor. An appropriate master’s degree is required as is significant professional design and public relations experience and the ability to teach undergraduate public relations courses, including public relations design and visual communication, public relations writing, and public relations principles. Service to the profession is required, as are student advising and service as a faculty adviser to a student organization. The position requires evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching and service. Applicants must have master’s degrees completed by August 7, 2013 to be considered for employment.
