Communication Arts- This is a new program that emphasizes writing and production skills for the mass media, along with a theoretical understanding of the media’s function within society. The candidate should be a communications generalist with the ability to teach courses in video and print production, at the beginning and advanced levels, as well as writing and theory classes in mass media. Part of the individual’s load will include supervising and working with campus media. QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Communications or related field required; teaching and/or professional experience preferred.
