Journalism education cannot teach its way to the future

    I will respond to Finberg’s speech at length elsewhere, but for starters, what does the title mean? Finberg actually does think journalism education can teach its way into and through the future: by online education, competency badges rather than course credits, etc. He certainly does not say that journalism education can’t adapt to the future, let alone suggest that it is going away.
